Outside there have been good sized kings caught on jigs ,poppers and live bait there have been fish up to 10kg landed plenty of medium sized fish with them. The mackeral are thick in the bay so livies aren't hard to catch.
Snapper and mowies are on the reefs early in the mornings and late arvo's fresh squid is the best bait or fresh slimies and there are still good flathead on the sand.
The salmon are still about off the beach and if you are keen and want to fish into the night there have been good tailor caught with the odd gummy taken at or around the mouth of the Kiah river.
The lakes and rivers have good flatties and bream on nippers or plastics fish up to 2kg have been caught on plastics over the last couple of weeks.
The water temp. in the bay is around 19c and still around 22 on the shelf and with all of this good weather we have been having you just could get tired of reeling them in.
